Senior Staff ML Engineer (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance generative AI solutions for internal stakeholders and customer-facing applications.
• Build AI agent orchestration, conversational AI, knowledge assistants, process automation, and other agentic workflow solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements, scope, roadmaps, and priorities.
• Integrate solutions with hirify.global’s AI platform architecture and contribute to platform capabilities and feature roadmaps.
• Evaluate technologies and frameworks, balancing build-versus-buy decisions, delivery speed, maintainability, and engineering quality.
• Lead technical alignment, project planning, stakeholder management, mentoring, code reviews, and design sessions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and building scalable production AI/ML applications and systems in cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience owning end-to-end development, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of AI/ML applications.
• 5+ years of experience with model and LLM training, fine-tuning, inference, evaluation, and production systems.
• 5+ years managing software development lifecycles for generative AI applications, backend systems, and APIs, including CI/CD, Kubernetes deployments, testing, monitoring, alerting, and production support.
• Experience with LangSmith, LangGraph, or similar frameworks; A2A, MCP, or similar agentic communication standards; and multi-agent applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or a similar general-purpose programming language, plus a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML products with Azure and AWS.
• Experience with production-grade LLM agent tooling, evaluation frameworks, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Experience building agentic AI products with no-code/low-code and high-code environments.
• Experience applying agentic workflows to insurance-domain problems.
• Experience working directly with business or external stakeholders on AI/ML initiatives.
