Senior Golang Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Build, release, and support customer-facing products and services at scale.
• Develop Go backend services and TypeScript/React frontend applications.
• Design maintainable components, APIs, and integrations for Kubernetes and AWS environments.
• Improve code quality, automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and release reliability.
• Diagnose live-system issues, provide incident support, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers while contributing to technical direction and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• Strong commercial experience designing, building, and operating distributed applications on AWS.
• Strong backend development experience with Go and frontend development experience with TypeScript and a modern framework or library.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and production support.
• Experience mentoring engineers, communicating clearly, and contributing to technical direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and serverless architectures.
• Experience in large-scale consumer or platform environments.
• Experience with AWS CDK, Pulumi, or Terraform.
• Strong experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with architectural practices such as ADRs and RFCs.
