Senior Software Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Node.js and TypeScript on the backend and Svelte on the frontend.
• Build high-performance system-level services and tools with Rust and contribute to React Native mobile features.
• Design and administer PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, query optimization, indexing, and maintenance.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications with Kubernetes and AWS services such as ECS and S3.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical documentation, and agile collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, security vulnerabilities, and production incidents while supporting observability and reliable delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing scalable web applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, RESTful APIs, microservices, relational databases, and at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native architecture, highly available customer-facing SaaS applications, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and with AI-assisted development tools.
