Location: Austin, TX, United States; based in the Global Security Operations Center. The role requires travel up to 20% and is relocation eligible.
Salary: $144,000–$198,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead and continuously improve global Travel Risk Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, Kidnap & Ransom, and Workforce Assurance programs.
- Monitor geopolitical developments and travel activity, issue risk advisories, and coordinate emergency, medical evacuation, and security evacuation support.
- Design threat assessment, behavioral threat management, crisis intervention, incident response, and case management processes.
- Manage the Kidnap & Ransom insurance program and coordinate with brokers, crisis response consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop policies, playbooks, KPIs, dashboards, training, tabletop exercises, simulations, and after-action improvement programs.
- Apply AI, analytics, automation, and travel risk intelligence platforms to improve monitoring, alerting, triage, reporting, and response capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading travel risk management, workplace violence prevention, background and drug testing adjudication, and Kidnap & Ransom or crisis management programs in large, complex, global organizations.
- Strong knowledge of duty of care principles, ISO 31030, ISO 45001, FCRA, workplace violence prevention, geopolitical risk, behavioral threat analysis, and crisis response.
- Experience managing Kidnap & Ransom insurance programs, conducting threat and risk assessments, and supporting leaders and employees during security incidents and crises.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional global teams and collaborate with HR, Legal, Global Security, Employee Relations, Risk Management, IT, Facilities, and business operations.
- Experience with governance processes, KPIs/KRIs, dashboards, tabletop exercises, simulations, response testing, travel risk platforms, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; strong communication, analytical, organizational, and high-pressure decision-making skills.
