Senior AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design and build production-grade AI applications and Python services using LLMs and other AI capabilities.
• Translate business requirements and AI use cases into scalable backend services, APIs, workflows, and enterprise integrations.
• Design evaluation frameworks, repeatable test cases, and techniques that improve the consistency and predictability of LLM-powered features.
• Implement observability, instrumentation, tracing, logging, and monitoring for production AI systems.
• Build reusable components for prompting, model interaction, retrieval, evaluation, and orchestration.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical best practices, stakeholder communication, and production support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, backend engineering, applied AI, or a related field.
• Strong Python fundamentals and experience building maintainable, production-grade Python applications, backend services, and APIs.
• Experience designing and deploying AI or LLM-powered products beyond proof-of-concept or notebook environments.
• Strong understanding of modular design, testing, version control, CI/CD, and production observability.
• Hands-on experience evaluating LLM outputs and creating repeatable AI application test cases.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including direct work with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, or agentic LLM workflows.
• Familiarity with structured LLM outputs, tool calling, schema-driven patterns, and AI evaluation platforms.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, cloud infrastructure, containers, or Python deployment tooling.
• Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise data platforms and semantic layers.
• Exposure to consulting, financial services, manufacturing, or other enterprise environments.
