AI Tech Lead (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the technical design, architecture, delivery, rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI products.
• Build AI agents, agentic workflows, automation, and AI-assisted business processes using AWS AI/ML services.
• Lead a growing AI engineering team through technical direction, mentoring, planning, code reviews, and delivery ownership.
• Design safe and observable integrations with APIs, internal platforms, workflows, knowledge bases, and external tools.
• Establish engineering standards covering testing, reliability, observability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Drive AI adoption, responsible AI practices, stakeholder communication, documentation, training, and production support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams with responsibility for technical direction, mentoring, planning, and delivery.
• Production experience with AI/ML systems, AI agents, LLM applications, agentic workflows, workflow automation, and tool-calling architectures.
• Strong AWS experience, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon SageMaker, and cloud-native AI/ML services.
• Hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django; LLM orchestration frameworks; RAG; vector databases; and model fine-tuning.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, AI security, governance, access control, data privacy, and audit logging. CV must be submitted in English.

• Docker, EKS/ECS, Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, data platforms, ETL/ELT, data lakes, feature stores, or real-time data processing.
• Responsible AI controls, governance frameworks, safety guardrails, compliance processes, and enterprise platform integrations.
• AI adoption programs, open-source contributions, technical publications, conference talks, patents, AWS certifications, or fintech experience.
