Mid-Level Python Developer (GenAI) (Python/LLM/RAG): Building production-grade AI and agentic features for client applications with an accent on stateful workflows, external API integration, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI safeguards. Focus on connecting LLMs to databases and tools, evaluating and monitoring AI output, and integrating reliable GenAI components into backend architectures.

What you will do
- Build stateful agentic workflows, prompt templates, and tool-calling flows using frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Connect LLMs and AI agents to internal and external APIs, databases, and third-party tools.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines with vector databases and structured outputs.
- Implement rate limiting, content moderation, and basic guardrails for user-facing AI features.
- Apply prompt evaluation, tracing, and monitoring practices to improve AI component reliability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and QA to integrate GenAI components into product architectures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building agentic or LLM-driven workflows with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs and provider platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Vertex AI.
- Experience with vector databases and retrieval patterns, including Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
- Strong async Python skills and experience building REST APIs with FastAPI.
- Familiarity with AI guardrails, evaluation techniques, and observability tools such as Langfuse or MLflow.
- Professional English fluency is required for collaboration in an agile, remote-first environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Familiarity with MCP, A2A, or similar tool-calling standards.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with uv, Poetry, Ruff, or other modern Python tooling.
- German language skills at B2+ level.
