Data Analyst III

Location: United States; work is primarily performed in an office environment. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain, maintain, and access DoD Secret-level classified information.

Salary: $95K–$120K annually, with the final offer contingent on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated data pipelines and ETL processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
• Conduct complex statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to improve analytics infrastructure scalability and reliability.
• Create interactive dashboards, personalized reports, data files, and summary tables for business units and research use.
• Develop data analytics policies and standards to improve consistency and accuracy.
• Evaluate emerging analytical tools and technologies and apply them to analytics workflows.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain, maintain, and access DoD Secret-level classified information.
• Master’s degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related field.
• At least five years of advanced or expert-level coding experience in Stata, R, or SAS.
• Experience building reproducible workflows, automating analyses, and optimizing performance for large datasets.
• Strong background in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with medical records or Military Health System data is desired.

• Familiarity with Stata.
• Experience with AWS cloud computing.
