Director, AIx Field Service Engineer

Location: Bundang, South Korea. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Lead and enhance the AIx Field Service Engineering team.
• Drive adoption of AIx insights across the field organization and connect insights to business value.
• Develop advanced diagnostics, predictive service insights, and troubleshooting capabilities to reduce errors, escalations, and service hours.
• Define project scopes, develop plans, and pilot initiatives with regional and global cross-functional teams.
• Advise leadership on data value, business opportunities, and strategic approaches.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience, including people management experience.
• Demonstrated success building and leading engineering teams.
• Experience driving change management, adoption, and continuous process improvement.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to turn data-driven insights into business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills across field service, sales, digital enablement, and strategic program teams.
• Understanding of Applied digital tools, relevant datasets, and their operational impact.

Nice to have

• Understanding of automated manufacturing production systems.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Equipment Automation, and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience monitoring automated work cells, equipment uptime, production output, and yield.
• Experience optimizing manufacturing operations and implementing smart factory solutions.
