Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, California campus; regular office presence is required. This is not a remote position.

Salary: $152,000–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, governance, and modernization of enterprise IAM services.
• Design directory, authentication, access control, entitlement, and identity lifecycle solutions for employees, contractors, partners, applications, and infrastructure.
• Architect PKI, certificate lifecycle management, vault, and secrets management capabilities.
• Integrate IAM with cloud identity platforms and hybrid environments using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, disaster recovery, security assessments, access reviews, and audit support.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, documentation, metrics, governance, and mentoring across cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT or information security, specializing in IAM.
• Proven experience designing and leading enterprise-scale IAM architectures.
• Strong expertise in directory services, LDAP-based platforms, authentication, access controls, identity governance, and access enforcement.
• Experience with PKI, certificate lifecycle management, vault or secrets management, cloud identity integration, and hybrid IAM.
• Experience with federation protocols and identity standards, ITIL processes, and service management tools.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite from the Santa Clara office.

Nice to have

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
• Background in identity governance, cryptographic services, credential management, audit, risk, or compliance.
• Architect, senior lead, or principal-level experience.
• Relevant security or identity certifications.
