Principal Consultant - Cloud Red Team Blue Team (Cloud Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $140,000–$195,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Conduct Cloud Red Team Blue Team engagements as a Blue Teamer.
• Support customer SOC and incident response teams with real-time threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Assess customer cloud security controls and detection capabilities during cloud-focused adversary emulation exercises.
• Manage customer engagements from kickoff through report delivery.
• Identify enhancements to adversary emulation tradecraft and blue-team offerings.
• Develop scripting, automation, and tooling that support blue-team operations and engagement workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in blue-team consulting services or MSSP roles.
• At least 5 years of overall cybersecurity industry experience, including hands-on incident response, threat hunting, or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with one or more public cloud platforms, typically AWS, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID/M365, or GCP.
• 1–2 years of experience conducting proactive security assessments, incident response activities, or Purple Team exercises.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects and relationships with managers and executives.
• Excellent client management, communication, consulting, business, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including experience using AI technologies to improve workflows and decision-making.
