Global Installation Engineer-Semi-PDC (Semiconductor)

Location: Beijing, Shanghai, or Wuxi, China. On-site customer equipment work with 75% travel; relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment alongside senior field service engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.
• Work in cleanroom environments and comply with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.
• Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a passport if required, and readiness to meet on-site requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience.
• Associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.
