Senior Director, Social Content and Community (Marketing)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the office, with corporate offices in Bethesda, MD and Manhattan, NY. hirify.global Flex allows working from anywhere in the US for up to four weeks per year.

Annual salary: $195,000–$315,000

What you will do

• Define the enterprise vision, strategy, operating model, and governance for social content and community engagement.
• Translate brand and business objectives into platform-native strategies across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit.
• Lead social content planning, publishing, community engagement, influencer partnerships, and agency collaboration.
• Build national-to-local content frameworks and editorial systems balancing consistency with community-level relevance.
• Establish KPIs, performance reviews, social listening, trend analysis, testing, optimization, and AI-supported learning systems.
• Oversee reputation monitoring, risk mitigation, catastrophe response, and escalation processes with Corporate Communications and Legal.

Requirements

• Extensive social media leadership experience at a large enterprise brand.
• Proven ability to translate brand and business strategy into culturally relevant, platform-native activations.
• Deep expertise in social platforms, creator economies, influencer partnerships, and emerging engagement models.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry with established compliance workflows.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence across functions, agencies, platforms, and leadership levels.
• Must be able to work in the United States; hirify.global will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization.
