Senior Linux Engineer (Cloud/Virtualization): Managing and securing Linux-based hosting environments, cloud platforms, and virtualized infrastructure with an accent on KVM, Libvirt, web hosting technologies, and automation. Focus on resolving complex L3 incidents, building servers from the ground up, automating infrastructure deployments, and maintaining secure 24/7 production systems.
Location: Yogyakarta, Indonesia; fully remote setup

What you will do
- Act as the final L3 escalation point for complex server, hosting, network, and performance issues.
- Manage, optimize, and secure Linux hosting environments across CentOS, Ubuntu, and RHEL.
- Administer web servers, databases, caching layers, and storage systems.
- Build and deploy servers, automate provisioning and configuration management, and support cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage KVM, OpenStack, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
- Implement security controls, monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and 24/7 on-call support while mentoring L1 and L2 engineers.
Requirements
- 11+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in web hosting or cloud environments.
- 7+ years in a senior or Level 3 engineering position.
- At least 7 years of expert-level KVM and Libvirt experience.
- Expertise in cPanel, Plesk, WHM, LAMP/LEMP, networking, firewalls, load balancing, and distributed storage.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Bash, and Python, plus experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
- Good English communication skills and availability for 24/7 on-call rotation.

- RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CKA certification.
