What you will do

• Edit final video podcast cuts from transcripts and producer rough cuts for horizontal and vertical formats.
• Color-correct and optimize footage for digital and broadcast distribution.
• Clean and prepare audio using Pro Tools and/or Audition, collaborating with audio engineers on final mixes.
• Set up and troubleshoot remote and in-person recordings, including cameras, connections, talent positioning, and technical resources.
• Develop and order graphics packages and episode graphics with producers, production managers, and the graphics department.
• Upload episodes, maintain production assets and equipment records, and create social clips, host-read ads, and bonus content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of video and audio production experience.
• Strong understanding of codecs, containers, frame rates, video and audio fundamentals, and color correction.
• Advanced expertise in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Descript.
• Experience with Pro Tools and/or Audition, camera operation, and collaborative video sessions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines, troubleshoot technical problems, and maintain high production standards.
• Must be willing to work onsite in New York, NY, on varied and unpredictable shifts, with unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
