Contact Center Data Engineer II

Location: Hybrid, requiring on-site presence 2–3 days per week in Richardson, TX, Dallas, TX, Palo Alto, CA, Bethesda, MD, Buffalo, NY, San Diego, CA, Virginia Beach, VA, Fredericksburg, VA, or Tampa, FL.

Annual salary: $88,150–$157,850

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex data structures, enterprise reports, dashboards, analytical systems, and visualizations.
• Analyze contact center, IVR, digital, customer, workforce, and system performance data to identify root causes and recommend actions.
• Build reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, Amazon QuickSight, Amazon CloudWatch, and related analytics tools.
• Monitor performance patterns, outliers, anomalies, and metric changes across contact center and IVR environments.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable reporting or analytics solutions for operations, product, automation, workforce management, and technology partners.
• Improve data quality, reporting standards, metric definitions, documentation, testing, governance, and self-service analytics capabilities while coaching less-experienced analysts or engineers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business, data, product, or operations analytics or a related analytical role.
• 2+ years of experience querying complex systems with SQL and performing data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience with Python, R, SAS, .NET, M, DAX, or another analytical or programming language.
• 2+ years of experience developing business intelligence reports or data visualizations with Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools.
• At least 1 year of experience with source control, DevOps tools, or collaborative development practices.
• BA/BS degree in computer science, statistics, analytics, operations research, economics, mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with contact centers, IVR, customer service, workforce management, digital servicing, insurance, or financial technology.
• Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, big data, cloud technologies, data warehousing, or data engineering.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments, mentoring peers, reviewing analytics work, or improving reporting standards.
