Data Analyst II (DNS)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid work schedule from the Reston office

Annual base salary: $89,900–$121,700, plus potential discretionary bonus and stock awards for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Analyze extensive datasets to understand how end users utilize domain names.
• Analyze trends in domain name usage, digital service activation, and channel distribution.
• Create data acquisition specifications for emerging technologies affecting the global DNS.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated processes that ensure data quality and integrity.
• Research trends and prepare briefings, presentations, and business performance reports.
• Support recommendations and strategic or tactical plans based on relevant business metrics.

Requirements

• Four years of progressively responsible experience in business and/or data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with ETL, data collection methods, data modeling, and transformation processes.
• Experience with relational databases and distributed data systems, including Oracle, SQL, Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, and Python scripting.
