TL;DR
Cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management Systems Administrator (DoD Cybersecurity/RMF): Securing DLA enterprise applications and servers, remediating vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance documentation across physical, virtual, and cloud-based environments with an accent on ACAS, STIG, SCAP, IAVM, and RMF artifacts. Focus on analyzing findings, coordinating remediation, developing POA&Ms and AORAs, and supporting cybersecurity inspections and audit readiness.

Location: Fully remote within the United States; active U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance required.

What you will do

  • Review, analyze, prioritize, and remediate application, operating system, server, and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Perform IAVM compliance activities and apply and validate DISA STIG and SCAP requirements.
  • Coordinate patching, secure configuration changes, application updates, and maintenance outages with system owners and technical teams.
  • Develop vulnerability remediation plans and track corrective actions through closure.
  • Develop and maintain POA&Ms, AORAs, risk assessments, mitigation statements, milestone dates, and closure evidence.
  • Maintain RMF artifacts, BCSA documentation, security procedures, scan results, and audit evidence while supporting CVAs, CCRIs, inspections, and transition activities.

Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
  • Critical Sensitive / IT-I position requiring a favorable Tier 5 investigation.
  • Active IAT Level II or higher certification required.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or current DLA-approved equivalent required.
  • BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of specialized experience, including seven years of progressive information processing or systems administration experience.
  • Experience with ACAS, STIG, SCAP, IAVM, patching, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, RMF packages, BCSA artifacts, POA&Ms, AORAs, CVAs, CCRIs, audits, and control validation.

Nice to have

  • ACAS or Tenable, STIG Viewer, SCC, Windows Server, IIS, SQL, ServiceNow, eMASS or an equivalent RMF repository.
  • Cybersecurity reporting experience.
