Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Controls Specialist, ANS

Location: St. Louis, MO, United States; onsite at client and partner locations.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, plans, and Work Breakdown Structures using Primavera P6.
• Analyze schedule and cost variances, critical and near-critical paths, project progress, contractor performance, and milestone impacts.
• Support project controls across cost, schedule, scope, risk, change, contracts, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare information for Stage Gate reviews and assess project readiness, performance, risks, and completion outlook.
• Validate contractor progress and schedule data and support the review of contractor invoices.
• Create project and portfolio metrics, dashboards, and reports for project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
• At least 4 years of capital project scheduling experience on process-industry projects valued at $500 million or more.
• High proficiency with Primavera P6 and experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated schedules.
• Experience with project controls analysis across schedule, cost, progress, change, risk, and reporting disciplines.
• Ability to communicate complex project controls information to project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct field walkdowns across moderate to rough terrain and lift 25 lbs. overhead.

Nice to have

• Scheduling experience on Utility New Gas Generation projects, including Combined Cycle Gas Turbine or Simple Cycle Gas Turbine projects.
• Experience working for a utility owner, EPC contractor, engineering firm, or Owner’s Engineer.
• Experience with EPC and multi-prime delivery models, contractor schedule evaluation, quantitative risk analysis, change management, cost management, and contract management.
• Experience creating standardized project and portfolio dashboards and reports.
• PMI or AACE International certification.
