Specialist, Data Solution Analyst - NF IIR

Location: Must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza, Columbus, Ohio, 43215. Hybrid schedule: two days in the office on Monday and Tuesday, with three remote days.

Salary: $95,500–$177,500 gross annual national range; expected starting range: $95,500–$143,500.

What you will do

• Elicit reporting and analytic requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into data solutions, visualizations, reports, and analyses.
• Profile, wrangle, map, and model data across business processes and technical interfaces.
• Use data exploration and visualization techniques to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate on standardized reporting, analytics, visualization, and self-service tools.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant experience in data management, organization, analytics, data acquisition, or data wrangling.
• Intermediate or stronger SQL skills, including custom queries for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with reporting, dashboarding, data visualization, and self-service analytics.
• Knowledge of data analysis, data practices, data modeling, data mapping, and data flows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and business analysis skills.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, or comparable education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Paxata, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, R, or similar tools.
• Graduate studies in business, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
• Relevant professional certifications.
