Location: Columbus, Ohio, with a hybrid schedule; remote consideration may be available depending on experience.

Salary: $97,000–$180,000 national range; expected starting range of $97,000–$145,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Provide compliance consulting and fraud advisory services to business partners across the P&C insurance organization and other enterprise functions.
  • Identify emerging fraud risks, perform risk assessments, evaluate controls, and recommend enhancements and corrective actions.
  • Prepare, review, and submit fraud-related filings, regulatory reports, responses to inquiries, subpoenas, investigations, and regulatory examinations.
  • Create compliance reports, metrics, manuals, documentation, training materials, and presentations for complex regulatory topics.
  • Conduct procedure testing, analyze trends, monitor corrective actions, and support fraud detection and compliance oversight.
  • Partner with claims, underwriting, legal, compliance, SIU, and other stakeholders to improve fraud prevention, escalation, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Typically eight or more years of related experience in financial services, insurance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, prioritization, research, documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate complex compliance issues, recommend solutions, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with compliance reviews, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures, risk assessments, and control testing.
  • Knowledge of insurance or financial services is preferred; data analytics experience is a plus.
  • Undergraduate study in business administration, insurance, business ethics, criminal justice, computer science, finance, or pre-law is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, machine learning, data analytics, Power BI, or Power Automate.
