Specialist, Software Engineer - ETL Informatica and ACE (App Connect Enterprise) (Insurance Integrations)

Location: Hybrid schedule with two days per week in the Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; or Scottsdale, Arizona office. Remote internal associates may also be considered.

Salary: $95,500–$177,500 annually; expected starting range: $95,500–$143,500.

What you will do

• Design, enhance, and support IBM App Connect Enterprise integrations connecting PolicyCenter and other services through secure APIs, message routing, authentication, and payload transformation.
• Build ACE flows that invoke REST services, construct request payloads, apply field mappings, and return transformed responses.
• Support Commercial Lines ETL Batch workflows that process PolicyCenter data through IDS Oracle and publish downstream extracts, statistical records, files, and reporting feeds.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, job failures, data issues, runtime problems, and operational reruns.
• Partner with product, testing, downstream business, and technical teams to deliver reliable policy transaction integrations.

Requirements

• Four or more years of analysis and technology experience, or equivalent technology credentials.
• Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise or comparable integration middleware, including message routing, protocol connectivity, and data transformation.
• Experience with REST and service integrations, token-based authentication, endpoint invocation, response parsing, and API mapping.
• Strong data mapping and transformation skills across XML, JSON, and downstream record or file layouts.
• Working knowledge of Oracle environments, SQL troubleshooting, deployment, security, runtime configuration, UNIX batch operations, and production support.
• The role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.

Nice to have

• Commercial Lines PolicyCenter integrations and IDS Oracle or CLS ETL Batch experience.
• Experience with insurance vendor, bureau, regulatory, statistical, print, or reporting feeds.
• UNIX scheduling tools and Perl-based scripting for file handling and job control.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
