Senior PKI PKE Expert (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with meetings at Ft. Meade, Maryland, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical authority for cryptographic infrastructure and implementation.
• Enable interoperability with federal ICAM architectures and support compliance with DoDI 8520.02.
• Engineer integrations across complex hardware, legacy software, identity federation, and high-security environments.
• Configure smart card middleware, CAC and PIV cards, and derived credentials for mobile devices such as Purebred.
• Integrate LDAP, Active Directory, ADCS, automated certificate enrollment, and group policy deployments.
• Automate certificate lifecycle management for routers, firewalls, microservices, and Kubernetes clusters.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management and IT/PKI experience.
• Deep technical and cryptographic authority with hands-on, low-level expertise in cryptographic infrastructure, identity federation, and system integration.
• Understanding of the mathematics, protocols, and hardware underlying public key cryptography.
• Mastery of LDAP, Active Directory, ADCS, EST/ACME, cross-certification, bridge certification, and federated trust models.
• Practical knowledge of NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms, including ML-KEM and ML-DSA, and quantum-safe migration engineering.
• SECRET clearance, IT Engineering BS, and PMP certification required.
