Security Engineer, IAM (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global is hiring for an IAM security role that connects security governance with internal IT operations.

What you will do

• Coordinate identity lifecycle, entitlement, privileged access, and account cleanup activities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual access certification cycles, role-change validations, and inactive account reviews.
• Administer security exception intake, documentation, risk assessment support, approvals, renewals, and reporting.
• Support vulnerability remediation governance, issue escalation, and formal exception documentation.
• Prepare audit and compliance evidence for access governance and privileged access programs.
• Build dashboards and metrics covering review completion, remediation status, exception aging, and ownership accountability.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in IAM, security operations, access governance, or a related security engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle administration, access governance, privileged access management, entitlement governance, and deprovisioning.
• Knowledge of enterprise identity platforms, directory services, role-based access control, and privileged access principles.
• Experience coordinating access reviews, managing exceptions, maintaining audit-ready evidence, and working within SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability governance, remediation tracking, security metrics, dashboards, and structured reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with formal exception management, audit and compliance activities, automation, remediation governance, and security operations reporting.
• Security+, SC-300, CISSP, or comparable security and IAM certifications.
