Psychiatrist

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional optional or role-related in-person events.

Compensation: $1,000 per month for each full-time nurse practitioner supervised and $500 per month for each part-time nurse practitioner supervised. Total monthly compensation depends on the number and mix of nurse practitioners, applicable state law, and operational needs.

What you will do

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatric patients.
• Review charts and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted and clinically appropriate.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship while reinforcing documentation and responsible-prescribing standards.
• Remain available during agreed working hours and at the end of PMHNP shifts when required by state rules.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in at least one U.S. licensing jurisdiction.
• Active DEA individual practitioner registration or another valid prescribing authority applicable to the work.
• Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry.
• Experience or comfort with remote nurse-practitioner supervision, chart review, telehealth tools, and electronic health records.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, medication-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to a minimum one-year tenure and willingness to obtain additional state licenses when mutually agreed.
