Audit Subject Matter Expert (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid collaboration from the London office with regular travel to the Berlin hub

What you will do

• Act as the audit subject-matter expert in the UK go-to-market unit, participating in demos, pilots, and customer conversations.
• Build relationships with UK customers throughout pilots and rollouts, identify upsell opportunities, and grow accounts.
• Lead audit methodology discussions with prospects and customers and represent Cortea at industry events and on LinkedIn.
• Evangelise AI-supported auditing and build a visible public presence within the UK audit profession.
• Share customer and market insights with the product team to improve the UK roadmap.
• Travel regularly to Berlin to collaborate with the founders and go-to-market colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of financial audit experience, preferably at a Big Four or leading mid-tier firm.
• ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent chartered accountancy qualification.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, UK GAAP, IFRS, and the Companies Act 2006.
• Confident client-facing communication skills, including presenting, networking, public events, and LinkedIn activity.
• Comfort with ownership, ambiguity, commercial targets, and building processes in a young company.
• Native English and the right to work in the UK are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
