Manager Project Controlling

Location: Levice, Slovakia; hybrid work with home office possible 2 days a week

Salary: from €3,700 gross per month, plus a 10% annual bonus and 13th salary

What you will do

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to the BU Controller and local management, providing financial insights and decision support.
• Lead and guide Project Controllers while directly managing selected projects and daily controlling activities.
• Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, cash flow, forecasts, risks, and opportunities through regular reviews.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial compliance, audit support, and corrective actions for budget deviations.
• Improve project controlling processes, ERP systems, reporting, and commercial awareness across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in project controlling, FP&A, and finance in an international, project-driven environment.
• Experience in industrial or construction-related settings is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, local taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Expertise with ERP and reporting systems; SAP or IFS, advanced Excel, BI tools, and data analytics experience are relevant.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
