Software Engineer - Canada (AI)

Location: Ottawa, Canada; hybrid work with 3 mandatory office days and 2 remote days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications.
• Implement new features and functionality while maintaining existing systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and refine enhancements.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages.
• Knowledge of database systems and software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience integrating AI tools, frameworks, and concepts into the software development process.
