VP, Product Management (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States only

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 USD annually, with additional variable compensation opportunities where eligible.

hirify.global manages the application process on behalf of a partner company developing portfolio management technology and personalized investing solutions for the wealth management ecosystem.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for UMA, SMA, multi-sleeve portfolio construction, overlay trading, and rebalancing capabilities.
• Translate trading discretion, sleeve- and account-level rebalancing, cash coordination, tax overlays, and performance attribution into product requirements.
• Partner with engineering and design to build scalable, configurable solutions for wealth management programs, asset managers, and overlay managers.
• Work with portfolio managers, asset managers, wealth management clients, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and validate product concepts.
• Represent portfolio management capabilities in client discussions, RFPs, executive business reviews, and commercial engagements.
• Monitor trends in managed accounts, direct indexing, tax management, and multi-manager portfolio construction to guide product investments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, investment technology, or a related discipline within wealth management or asset management.
• Deep knowledge of managed-account structures, UMA sleeves, overlay management, trading discretion, rebalancing engines, tax transitions, tax-loss harvesting, and performance attribution.
• Experience delivering technology platforms to broker-dealers, RIAs, TAMPs, wealth management firms, asset managers, or similar distribution channels.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering and design teams to launch complex, scalable financial technology products.
• Strong communication and executive presence when presenting to clients, prospects, portfolio managers, and senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required; familiarity with Northfield, BARRA/Axioma, or similar portfolio optimization platforms is preferred.

Nice to have

• CFA, CIMA, or a comparable investment credential.
• Experience integrating portfolio optimization engines into automated, rules-based trading and rebalancing workflows.
• Background with a wirehouse, broker-dealer, RIA aggregator, TAMP, asset manager, or tax-managed investment solutions provider.
