Junior Social Media Manager (DACH)

Location: Munich, Germany; hybrid workplace with occasional mobile working.

What you will do

• Create and produce social media content for DACH channels, including video clips, reels, stories, carousels, polls, and text posts.
• Support content scheduling, publishing tools, and the social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Facebook.
• Provide real-time social coverage during Bundesliga, Champions League, boxing, and other sporting events.
• Monitor community interactions, respond to fan comments, maintain the brand voice, and escalate sensitive issues.
• Create content supporting subscriber acquisition and retention, including calls to action for trials and sign-ups.
• Monitor trends and performance metrics, coordinate assets with Content and Editorial, and contribute to cross-functional campaigns.

Requirements

• Native or near-native German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in social media management, social content creation, or digital editorial.
• Experience creating content across major social media platforms and basic knowledge of platform analytics.
• Exposure to real-time social media coverage of live events, ideally live sport.
• Knowledge of the DACH sports landscape, strong football knowledge, and ideally knowledge of boxing and UFC.
• Basic experience with video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere and graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

Nice to have

• Experience covering live sports or events in a personal or university capacity.
• Knowledge of fight sports, including boxing and UFC.
