Plumber (South West)

Location: On-site in Swindon, Plymouth or Winchester, United Kingdom

Salary: £26,000–£30,000 base salary per year, plus overtime, a £2,500 annual performance bonus and London weighting where applicable.

hirify.global Services develops and installs low-carbon heating technology, including air source heat pumps, to support the renewable energy transition.

What you will do

• Work in a two-person team to install air source heat pumps and other low-carbon technology in customers’ homes.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators using domestic heating and plumbing expertise.
• Communicate with customers and coordinate plans with the wider installation team.
• Learn new renewable heating technologies through training at the R&D centre.
• Carry out work respectfully and maintain a strong customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services – Plumbing (domestic), and/or gas qualifications with CCN1 and CENWAT held for at least three years.
• Experience with the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Strong communication, customer focus, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn renewable heating technologies.

Nice to have

• WRAS Water Supply Regulations qualification.
• UHW10 or HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems qualification.
