Gas Engineer (Field Service Engineer)

Location: UK homebased, with field work across Swindon, Reading, Bath, and the designated region

Salary: £44,984.22 per year plus monthly bonus

What you will do

• Service, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial gas boilers, heating appliances, and related systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes while meeting service-level expectations.
• Commission new installations and optimise appliance performance and efficiency.
• Manage the daily schedule independently and travel throughout the designated region.
• Provide technical advice to customers, installers, and contractors.
• Complete digital job reports, maintain equipment and the company van, and represent the Baxi brand professionally.

Requirements

• ACS Gas qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, or equivalent, are essential.
• Experience servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Working knowledge of Gas Safe regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Customer service, communication, independent working, workload management, and basic IT skills.
