Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Seattle, WA, USA; occasional travel of less than 10% for customer discovery, deployment, and relationship building.

Salary: $130,000–$210,000 annually, plus potential performance-based bonuses and equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and implementation for enterprise customers.
• Translate complex business processes into scalable AI-native solutions.
• Build, deploy, and optimize integrations between customer systems and an LLM-driven platform.
• Develop reusable tools, adapters, and configuration layers for enterprise onboarding.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, engineering, product, and customer stakeholders to define requirements and resolve edge cases.
• Own the performance, reliability, maintainability, documentation, and post-launch optimization of delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or technical implementation experience.
• Experience with TypeScript or similar programming languages, APIs, and systems integration.
• Ability to understand unfamiliar enterprise architectures, including CMS, DAM, and workflow tools.
• Experience working with enterprise customers, especially in content, marketing, or digital operations.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI pipelines, and agent-style automation frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
