Senior Account and Contract Employee

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; candidates must currently live in the Netherlands

Salary: €71,000–€100,000 gross annual salary, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance

What you will do

• Process, validate, invoice, and settle complex energy flows and renewable energy contracts.
• Act as a subject matter expert within Account Support & Settlements.
• Identify, initiate, and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Support, coach, and encourage colleagues to take ownership.
• Identify operational risks and drive sustainable solutions.
• Initiate and support automation and digitalisation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in operations, settlements, back-office environments, or commodity and energy trading.
• Bachelor or Master working and thinking level.
• Experience with complex operational and financial processes.
• Strong analytical skills and an affinity for working with data.
• Experience with or interest in automation, AI, RPA, and process optimisation.
• Excellent English communication skills and current residence in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Power Automate, or similar solutions.
• Dutch language skills.
