Senior Account Support & Settlement Specialist

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; candidates must currently live in the Netherlands

Gross annual salary: €71,000–€100,000, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance, with a possible bonus or collective profit sharing.

What you will do

• Process, validate, invoice and settle complex energy flows linked to solar parks, wind parks, batteries and other renewable assets.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex operational processes within Account Support & Settlements.
• Identify, initiate and implement process improvement, automation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Support, coach and encourage colleagues to take ownership and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Identify operational risks and drive sustainable, scalable solutions.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to professionalise the operation and promote proactive ways of working.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master working and thinking level.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, settlements, back-office environments, commodity trading or energy trading.
• Experience with complex operational and financial processes, strong analytical skills and an affinity for working with data.
• Experience with or interest in automation, AI, RPA and process optimisation.
• Excellent English communication skills and current residence in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Power Automate or similar solutions.
• Dutch language skills.
