Junior Data Migration Engineer (SQL/Python)

Location: Westlake, Texas or Merrimack, New Hampshire; day-one onsite with a hybrid schedule

Salary: $56,186–$87,556 gross annual base salary for a full-time position, with possible bonus or variable compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data migration.
• Extract, transform, and load data across enterprise data platforms.
• Help define data mappings and transformation rules.
• Execute data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Document processes and maintain runbooks and playbooks.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and applying SQL performance tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, data platforms, data modeling, and databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or another public cloud and large data sets.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with distributed application design and development using Java, .NET, or Python.
• Experience with large complex system design.
