Internal Auditor (Blockchain/VASP)

Location: Taiwan, Taipei; work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the business team's work.

What you will do

• Establish an independent internal audit system and annual audit plan.
• Design self-assessment and inspection mechanisms for AML/CFT, information security, asset custody, and trading fairness.
• Conduct routine audits and project-based reviews of internal controls, customer and proprietary asset segregation, virtual asset listings, and unfair trading prevention.
• Audit wallet management, information system security, access controls, and conduct at least one annual information security audit involving penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Issue recommendations, track remediation, and report audit results to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
• Maintain auditor independence by ensuring audit personnel do not concurrently act as AML/CFT compliance officers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Information Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of internal audit experience in the financial or VASP industry.
• Certification such as CIA, CFE, CISA, or an FSC-recognized audit certification.
• Knowledge of COSO internal control frameworks, risk management, virtual asset business models, blockchain technology, and VASP regulation.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency with audit tools.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin required, along with strong independent judgment, logical analysis, and report-writing skills.
