TL;DR
Certified Public Accountant (Xero) (International Finance): Managing bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close, tax reporting, inventory records, and consolidated management accounts across UK, New Zealand, and Australian entities with an accent on multi-entity accounting, Xero, and operational reporting. Focus on building financial models, improving finance processes, analysing costs, and coordinating stocktake reconciliations.
Location: Permanent work from home with a work schedule aligned to NSW, Australia; Monday–Friday, flexible between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Engadine time, 20 hours per week.

Work with a small, fast-growing international sports nutrition group with a UK holding company and operating subsidiaries in New Zealand and Australia.
What you will do
- Manage daily bookkeeping for three entities in Xero, including bank, loan, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices and complete month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, financial reports, and tax reporting requirements for BAS, GST, and VAT lodgment.
- Maintain inventory records, reconcile stock in Xero, support stock reporting, and coordinate periodic stocktakes.
- Prepare performance reports covering gross profit, marketing ROI, customer lifetime value, cost per acquisition, and campaign profitability.
- Support the Managing Director and Operations Director with finance, supplier, contract, and operational improvement work.
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong Xero experience, preferably in multi-entity environments.
- Experience with inventory and stock management.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Availability for 20 hours per week on an NSW, Australia-aligned schedule.
