Salary: $199,000–$278,500 total cash range for San Francisco; ranges vary by location, including $184,500–$258,000 in Seattle and $199,000–$278,500 in New York, San Jose, and San Francisco.

What you will do

• Implement and refine operational frameworks, workflows, and rituals connecting design strategy with product delivery.
• Lead multi-team design initiatives, managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Partner with design, product management, technical program management, and engineering teams to improve planning and execution.
• Coordinate design review pathways from squad reviews through leadership checkpoints.
• Identify friction in planning and collaboration and promote sustainable delivery practices.
• Support design leadership with prioritization, staffing visibility, communication, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in design operations, program management, or cross-functional delivery supporting design or product teams.
• Strong understanding of design workflows, tools, and review processes in digital product environments.
• Experience managing complex programs and introducing operational improvements.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to bring clarity to complex environments and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global or multi-brand product organizations.
• Familiarity with design systems, content operations, or research operations.
• Experience with tooling, vendor management, operational budgeting, or process improvements across large teams.
