Staff Java Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain AI-driven features and Java microservices.
• Design scalable data structures and pipelines for high-volume data processing.
• Build and own secure API services that handle large amounts of data.
• Work with cloud services, databases, data streams, message queues, container orchestrators, and job automation systems.
• Review code and pull requests, support debugging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Write technical documentation and specifications while architecting scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Java knowledge.
• Experience developing Java microservices, libraries, automated tests, and build scripts.
• Expertise with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Git, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-native development and continuous build, integration, and deployment systems.
• Ability to design clean APIs and scalable solutions capable of processing millions of new data points daily.
• Experience performing code reviews and applying healthy coding and Agile practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with large language models and their practical applications.
• Experience processing large amounts of data and working with databases.
