Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design complex, scalable, and maintainable software features across microservices, DDD/CQRS, and event-driven architectures.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications with solution managers, designers, and engineering peers.
• Analyze technical challenges, identify system bottlenecks, and optimize large-scale transactional processing.
• Facilitate code reviews and promote unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and platforms to improve decision-making, code quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience with at least some of the listed backend, frontend, cloud, infrastructure, architecture, or data technologies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
• Willingness to work additional or irregular hours when needed.
• Ability to follow security policies and sit at a computer for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET/C#, Python, Java, Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Knowledge of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or BigQuery.
• Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Healthcare interoperability or domain knowledge involving FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, EMR, medical claims, or payroll accounting.
