Senior Automation Engineer (Python/AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based automations and agentic workflows for simple-to-medium complexity business tasks.
• Build and integrate LLM-based agents and orchestration or tooling frameworks into business automations.
• Deploy and operate solutions on Google Cloud Platform, integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, execute them through CI/CD pipelines, and resolve defects affecting reliability and performance.
• Occasionally assess and convert UiPath or other RPA automations into Python-based agentic solutions.
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, represent technical decisions in client meetings, and collaborate with data, DevOps, product, and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Python software engineering experience, including production services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Experience building or integrating agentic AI automations and designing solutions for business processes.
• Experience with Python engineering and data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, plus well-tested and maintainable code.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying Python applications with Kubernetes, GKE, and Google App Engine.
• Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, or Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum enterprise engagements and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or other RPA platforms.
• Exposure to UiPath AI Center, Action Center, agentic AI solution design, or UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, or interest in process mining, low-code platforms, and conversational AI.
