Platform Architect I (Infrastructure)

Location: Remote; U.S.-based employment indicators apply

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus

hirify.global is a physician-led radiology practice that provides healthcare services and technology-enabled radiology solutions to hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and referring physicians across the United States.

What you will do

• Lead the triage and resolution of infrastructure incidents to maintain operational continuity across enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers across servers, storage, networking, cloud, and platform services.
• Architect, implement, and govern scalable hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
• Establish infrastructure architecture standards, policies, design principles, and review processes.
• Monitor and optimize mission-critical infrastructure through observability, alerting, capacity planning, and technology adoption.
• Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and vendors to evaluate solutions, support M&A due diligence, and deliver infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale, multi-user, multi-domain, multi-application, and multi-server enterprise environments.
• Experience with server hardware, virtualization, public cloud, NAS/SAN storage, LAN/WAN networking, backups, systems security, and Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with public cloud architecture and design, including IaaS and PaaS concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and internal and external DNS.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH Security Rules are preferred; relevant industry certification is highly desirable.
