Domain Architect, Infrastructure (Hybrid)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Must be able to work up to five days in the office when required and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary.

Salary: $131,090–$145,650 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Apply infrastructure and domain technologies to solve business and IT problems in a supportable and cost-effective way.
• Develop domain standards, reference architectures, solution guidelines, metrics, patterns, building blocks, and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate current capabilities, emerging technologies, vendors, product standards, configurations, and market trends.
• Define high-level migration plans and assess the organizational and financial impact of architecture changes.
• Provide technology consulting and governance for solutions involving multiple domain technologies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, solution architects, and technical subject matter experts while mentoring technical specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience in an IT Architect or Lead Subject Matter Expert role.
• At least five years of related experience with technology or application solutions, including architecture, design, implementation, support, and management.
• Deep knowledge of one technical domain or experience across multiple technical domains, including architecture patterns, vendors, best practices, cost models, and operating considerations.
• Knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies, IT service management, IT standards, controls, financial models, and budgeting.
