Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js)

Location: Remote from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, or Panama

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production features across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Build and support AWS backend services and cloud components, including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
• Improve reliability, maintainability, performance, and architecture in a brownfield production codebase.
• Apply secure-by-default development practices and contribute to cloud security standards.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders on high-quality solutions.
• Review and validate AI-assisted code and contribute to engineering standards and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Proven experience with AWS, especially Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
• Experience working with brownfield or legacy codebases.
• Security-aware engineering experience, including NIST 800-53 or comparable frameworks and AWS Security Hub or CIS benchmarks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience incrementally modernizing legacy systems.
• Familiarity with observability, testing strategies, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
