TL;DR
Full Stack Developer (TypeScript/Node): Building and managing large-scale, highly available Similarweb services and end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, testing, and monitoring with an accent on cloud-based web development, API design, and production-grade architecture. Focus on solving complex technical problems, evaluating tradeoffs, designing scalable abstractions, and delivering reliable services across platforms.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

What you will do
- Design, develop, and manage large-scale, highly available web services.
- Build new product features end to end across frontend, backend, testing, monitoring, and multiple platforms.
- Design APIs, mechanisms, abstractions, and production-grade service architectures.
- Evaluate technical risks and tradeoffs while solving complex engineering problems.
- Write high-quality frontend and backend code, review implementations, and provide engineering feedback.
- Collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to the development of new products within the Incubation team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with web technologies, including at least 2 years of server-side development and at least 1.5 years of frontend or mobile development.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node, and a major framework such as Express or NestJS in a cloud environment.
- Experience with a major UI framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, as well as databases.
- Experience designing production-grade web service architecture.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English; hybrid attendance in the Prague office is required.
