Senior Engineer (React/Node/GraphQL)

Location: Remote in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, or Uruguay; work in the EST/PST time zone

What you will do

• Enhance existing TypeScript and JavaScript codebases.
• Design client-side and server-side application architecture, including component hierarchy, authentication, and error handling.
• Architect applications and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to define software solutions.
• Implement frontend build, deployment, and CI pipelines.
• Deliver well-factored, tested applications and high-quality product features with minimal technical supervision.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with React and GraphQL, plus strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend development skills.
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks, including React and Node.js.
• Experience with backend development, RESTful web services, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with automated testing, including TDD, mocking, and unit, functional, or integration testing.
• Self-driven approach, strong work ethic, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional backend languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with Angular, XML, jQuery, MySQL, MongoDB, Apache, or UI/UX design.
• BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
