Senior Software Development Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On site in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States

Salary: USD $105,600–$234,600 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and customize the InvestorTools Perform platform, Credit Scope, and in-house portfolio construction applications.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable epics, user stories, business rules, and technology solutions.
• Support trading and portfolio workflows, including Task Scheduler, platform upgrades, custom reporting, and advanced configurations.
• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Lead Agile testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure production-ready outcomes.
• Resolve critical production issues and influence platform direction as a techno-functional subject matter expert.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Fixed Income Separately Managed Accounts and InvestorTools Perform platform development.
• Current working experience with Schwab systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of municipal bond trading and SMA business processes.
• Advanced SQL, data analysis, and data mapping skills.
• .NET and object-oriented programming experience.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
