Backend Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Remote; candidates must be located in European or U.S. time zones

US-based salary: $177,000–$199,000 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and ship product features.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs for a high-scale payment network.
• Write efficient, modular, and reusable libraries and abstractions.
• Design and build internal tools that improve development efficiency.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate engineering best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of recent professional experience with C#.
• Experience with .NET Core and EF Core.
• Passion for programming and difficult engineering challenges.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a remote environment.
• Availability during European or U.S. time zones.

Nice to have

• Bitcoin experience.
• Experience with xUnit, Moq, or other testing frameworks.
