Systems Engineer - Early Career (Embedded/C++)

Location: Onsite at the Longmont, Colorado, United States product-design campus

Base salary: $72,571–$103,784 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain customer-facing command-line interfaces for configuring, managing, and monitoring disk array systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain embedded application software across operating-system services and user-facing interfaces.
• Apply test-driven development, code-quality practices, and software development lifecycle standards.
• Triage, debug, and resolve issues identified through continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with quality, testing, validation, and distributed engineering teams to diagnose and resolve defects.

Requirements

• Production software development experience in Linux-based, embedded, or systems environments.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming with C++ or Java and experience with service-based or API-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Python scripting, Git, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Ability to debug across application logic, operating-system services, and inter-process communication.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
