Senior Commercial Data Analyst (SaaS)

Location: California, United States; ideally the Santa Clara area with a hybrid schedule requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 annually in the San Francisco Bay Area; $137,000–$165,000 annually in Region 2; $130,000–$160,000 annually in Region 3.

What you will do

• Translate business and executive requirements into curated financial and operational datasets.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for company-wide use.
• Map business metrics across eCommerce vendors and internal engineering data sources.
• Update revenue system configurations for product launches and bundle changes.
• Run pre-production versus production data comparisons within CI/CD workflows and investigate process failures.
• Partner with Retention/Marketing, Product, and Finance while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL, including window functions, plus Power BI and basic DAX.
• Understanding of financial KPIs and experience working cross-functionally across multiple projects.
• Experience with dbt Core, including materializations, incremental loads, and Jinja macros.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and tuning data models to optimize execution plans and warehouse usage.
• Proficiency with Git-based processes and CI/CD workflows, including pull requests against CI and pre-production schemas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field, plus 4–6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or FP&A.
